Line by line editing, ensuring grammar, spelling and tone of voice are fully maintained in a clear and concise manner. Sense-checking for clarity and fact-checking for accuracy, I am passionate about enhancing content to fit the platform and audience it is intended for.

With decades of experience as a chief sub-editor, I am able to manage workflow, set deadlines and see projects through from ideas stage to final sign-off.
Workflow/project management
As a former deputy editor and head of features for a leading women’s weekly title I am able to turn around interviews and features quickly. Other areas include writing on restaurants, travel, arts and women’s issues.
